What we collect when you request an introduction, and how we use it.

Last updated October 10, 2026

Who we are

This directory is run by AICA Startups for the 2026 AI Global Expansion program hosted by the Artificial Intelligence Industry Cluster Agency (AICA). AICA Startups decides how the information you send through it is used.

What we collect

When you send an introduction request, we collect:

  • your name, email address and what best describes you (for example VC or angel)
  • your company, website, LinkedIn profile and phone number, if you give them
  • the startups you shortlisted, your notes, the type of interest and the days you can meet
  • a one-way hash of your IP address, used only to stop spam and repeated submissions

Browsing the directory needs no account. Your shortlist is stored only in your browser until you send it.

How we use it

  • to confirm your email address and arrange the introductions you ask for
  • to share your request with the startups you selected, so they can prepare for the meeting
  • to follow up about the program's meetings in San Francisco on November 4 and 5

Who we share it with

We share your request only with the startups you selected and with AICA as the program host. We do not sell your information.

Our service providers process it on our behalf: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) and Brevo (email delivery).

How long we keep it

We keep requests for as long as needed to run the program and follow up on introductions, and delete them when they are no longer needed. Unconfirmed requests are not passed on.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you: please contact AICA Startups.
